May 18, 20: Introduction to HPC in Python and Snakemake

This tutorial focuses on using Python in high-performance computing environments to automate data analysis pipelines with Snakemake.

Topics to include:

  • Write and run basic Python programs.

  • Create a reproducible analysis pipeline in Python.

  • Run your pipeline on your computer or on a high-performance computing cluster and have it scale appropriately.

Participants are recommended to sign up for an HCC account (https://hcc.unl.edu/new-user-request). Temporary HCC accounts will be available during the workshop if needed.
