The Holland Computing Center will be hosting two workshops on the topics of Machine Learning, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence.

October 14-15: Machine Learning and BIG DATA


The Holland Computing Center and Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center are pleased to present a Machine Learning and Big Data workshop.

This workshop will focus on topics including big data analytics and machine learning with Spark, and deep learning using Tensorflow.

This will be an IN PERSON event hosted by various satellite sites including UNL, there WILL NOT be a direct to desktop option for this event.

This event is sponsored by the National Science Foundation, there is NO REGISTRATION FEE to attend.

Register now to attend the Holland Computing Center (HCC)'s in-person Introduction to AI and ML using HCC Resources Workshop - November 5th, 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM CDT held at Teachers College Hall. This workshop series will feature hands-on experience on how to use HCC's powerful computing resources to accelerate your AI and ML research.

Topics to include:

  • GPU access on HCC resources

  • Introducing HCC’s large GPU upgrade, PLUMAGE

  • Accessing GPU resources on Swan

  • Accessing JupyterLab on Swan

  • Running AI and ML workflows on Swan

  • Using PyTorch

  • GPU access on other National resources
