AI Researchers, Educators, and those that support them are invited to a webinar on “Requesting Resources via the National AI Research Resource (NAIRR) Pilot”, taking place Monday, March 31, 2-3pm CT / 3-4pm ET / 12p-1pm PT.

Registration is required to attend: https://internet2.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_8ojiOZjeT26SjzZBYk2j2w

This webinar presents an overview of the process for requesting no-charge access to technology resources via the
National AI Research Resources Pilot program. In addition to introducing the available, no-charge technology resources, the presentation prepares AI Researchers and Educators for the development of successful resource allocation requests by covering:

  • program eligibility and requirements for Classroom/Educator and Research projects

  • the proposal review and resource allocation processes

  • specific proposal instructions from the NAIRR Pilot portal

  • strategies for addressing specified review criteria

  • example resource estimates that quantitatively justify requested NAIRR Pilot resources

The presentation will be recorded, leaving designated time for unrecorded audience questions. Registrants will be notified when the recording and slides are available via the NAIRR Pilot portal and YouTube channel, as well as via the CaRCC and ACCESS YouTube channels.

Materials have been developed with input from NAIRR Pilot operational staff, the
CaRCC AI Facilitation Materials Working Group, and representatives from the National Science Foundation (NSF) with support from NSF award #2436057, though they do not necessarily reflect the views of the NSF.
